Polycystic ovary disease or PCOD is a hormonal disorder that affects women in their childbearing years. Women suffering from PCOD are asked to lose weight and achieve a healthy BMI. They are asked to follow a diet plan and certain prescribed medications to improve their symptoms. For anxiety and depression, they are asked to meditate and engaged in activities focused on self-improvement.

If women face difficulty getting pregnant, the doctor may prescribe some tests and on the basis of their results, they may decide a suitable course of treatment. What is more important is to not feel worried and depressed. PCOD is a common problem and it can be managed.
